Management Opportunity with one of the "Up and Coming” Food Service Companies to Watch. 
We are seeking a Patient Services Manager in Massillon Ohio. Registered Dietitian is preferred.

General Summary: The Patient Services Manager Plans, administers, directs and controls, under direction of the Department Director, all unit activities related to resident/patient nutrition care and food service to ensure high quality standards of operation. Complies with the standards established by HHS, regulatory agencies and client.  

Develops and implements cost effective, profit-generating nutrition programs. Functions as a member of the multidisciplinary health care team. 


Job Requirements 

  1. Training, Monitoring, Hiring Staff 

  1. Conduct annual staff evaluation according to procedures and within timeframe 

  1. Maintain and enforce disciplinary policy and follows through on procedures 

  1. Complete work schedule to ensure adequate coverage for all FANS functions 

  1. Patient Satisfaction 

  1. Develop and monitor evaluation processes for patient satisfaction 

  1. Coordinates and evaluates patient/resident food service standards to ensure patient/resident satisfaction with meals and nourishment; and initiates action to correct any problems. 

  1. Ensure processes are followed, initiate performance improvements within trouble areas 

  1. Manages and controls resources and materials to ensure quality and adequacy of supplies. Resources and materials may include Patient/resident menus: tray mats, tents and napkins: satisfaction surveys and nutritional supplements. 

  1. Development and Guidance 

  1. Develop training tools for CNS staff 

  1. Implement and maintain the Ambassador Programs 

  1. Educates patients and/or family members on nutritional needs as indicated. 

  1. Educates Staff, nursing, food service employees on issues regarding special diets. 

  1. Attend patient rounds on assigned floors 

  1. Presents themselves in a professional manner in accordance to the hospital's and Culinary Nutrition Solution behavioral expectations. 

  1. Adheres to facility's policies and procedure including the confidentiality and patient's rights policies as outlined in the facility's Policies and Procedures Manual. 

  1. Adheres to facility's Emergency Preparedness Program, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)and other mandatory programs in the facility as appropriate. 

  1. Performs other tasks as may be assigned. 


  • RD and LD, preferred 

  • Bachelor in Food and Nutrition, or minimum of 2 years experience in similar role/responsibility. 

  • Proficient computer skills, excel, word.  

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally. 

  • Knowledge of regulatory standards 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

  • Excellent in client relationship management 

  • Conduct self in a positive and professional manner
